Harv taught chemistry and physics for 33 years in Illinois.
He organized and chaired the Visitor Center organization at Argonne National Labs in Downers Grove, and published a technical article on detecting poisonous gases while working for the Defense Department at Argonne.
He has served as Vice President for the American Discovery Trail Society, and chaired the Santa Fe Trail Association/ American Discovery Trail Society Alliance.
His two concerns continue to be trail safety and site preservation/interpretation through relational history education.
Eagle Scout.
He lives in Conifer CO with wife Bonnie. They have 3 married sons and 9 grandchildren.
